What really happens on a fitness and weight loss Boot Camp
Our latest fitness retreat ran from the 29th September to the 6th October out in Spain close to Gibraltar. It drew in a crowd of fitness enthusiasts from the Costa Del Sol, Local Gibraltarians who love exercise and repeat customers who flew in from abroad for the boot camp.
The venue was a stunning colonial estate in Los Barrios, with all the character and charm of a turn on the century mansion, with large private grounds, a tennis court and inside the Alcornocales National Park. Our hiking routes were directly accessible from the property, including a walk up to the ‘Garganta Del Capitan’ waterfall.
The ladies participated in all manner of weight-loss workouts, ranging from box-fit / Boxercise to circuit training on the beach, TRX exercises and Tabata - all underpinned by core-strengthening workouts like pilates. Each activity is designed to burn fat and boost your metabolism so that you keep burning calories throughout the day. A weight-loss boot camp doesn’t need to be all exercise either - the trainers throw in fun games to keep it fresh. Lilo-racing across the huge pool was a firm favourite with our ladies - nothing like a little bit of competition to get people moving!
If you want to lose weight fast, what you put in your body is as important as what exercise you do. The meals at our boot camp are balanced and nutritious, focussing on clean eating and locally sourced ingredients. You get three meals and two snacks a day, all freshly prepared. We can cater for all types of food preferences, intolerances and allergies, just make sure to let us know at the time of booking!
