Hiking and hillwalking is THE BEST for boosting your overall fitness, burning fat but it’s even better for your mental health!

Hiking and your mental health
Research shows that people who spend more time with nature and less time in electronics are up to 50% more creative when it comes to problem-solving activities. In fact, frequent hillwalkers and climbers have a better memory than those who often don't go out to play. Regular proximity to nature can even restore cognitive functions, such as memory and focus.

We are always looking at the monitors and searching our phones, still hooked into the world's network, imagine wandering where there is no WiFi can really help to relieve the mental fatigue that technology inevitably produces.

Trying to run on a treadmill is a great exercise to improve mental states, but walking through nature is even better when it comes to tackling common mental health issues such as stress and depression. The vast world of trees, hills, roads and beaches is much more interesting than the walls of the typical workout, so it's not hard to imagine that a stroll around nature–or even the park–makes us feel so much better.
